ABIT AN8 32X General Performance
The two ATI boards seem to have better CPU usage during High Definition WMV9 video playback, with the ABIT AN8 32X using 0.5% more CPU power to decode the video stream in single card mode. The board performs comparatively to the A8N32-SLI Deluxe in dual card mode, and uses fewer CPU cycles in single card mode.

ABIT AN8 32X General Performance
The AN8 32X was the fastest board for MP3 encoding - it managed to encode our test album in 2 1/2 minutes - one second faster than the A8N32-SLI Deluxe in single card mode, and two seconds faster with SLI enabled.

ABIT AN8 32X General Performance
In our Xvid Encoding test, the AN8 32X was a little slower than the competition, but not significantly. There are a few seconds separating the different boards - the DFI LANParty nF4 SLI-DR and ASUS A8R-MVP boards lead the way in single card mode and the A8N32-SLI Deluxe completing the test the fastest when SLI was enabled.

ABIT AN8 32X General Performance
The ABIT board happened to be the fastest at completing our image manipulation test in single card mode, with the DFI LANParty nF4 SLI-DR besting the AN8 32X in dual card mode by a mere 0.2 seconds.
